Went ridding this past weekend. Got in some rough stuff. I got stuck and i was trying to get out when my belt started messin up. It had to sit there in the mud for about ten min befor somebody could pull me out. When i got it out she woulden't do anything at all. We had to pull it around with anouther four wheeler and it final started to pull again. Just wandering if yall have any sugestions on what happend and what i need to do.

take the belt cover off and clean the mud out, then seal up the "duckbills" on your cvt intake. make sure you dont mess up the seal/gasket on the cover, so you can put it back together water tight.

My 400 did the same thing. The belt housing drain bolt had vibrated out. I rode out into a pond and sat ther for a few minutes. When I went to leave ....nothin'. Now it has a lock washer on it.

You could have a leak in one of your cvt snorkels

easy way to find it, fill it up with water and see where it comes out thats what i had to do.
Once its drained back empty run it around so that it drys out real good and does not have any moisture left in it.
