whats the top speed on the 420 maxed out mine doesnt have a speedometer

mine is only 2wd i had someone drive my truck and i was beside them and they said i was going 55 i just wanted to see if that was about accurate so i guess it is

stock tires mine hit the rev limiter at 56mph on the speedo which is 53mph on my handheld gps. With the 26" vamps It will still hit 56 on the speedo which is 58mph on the gps BUT it takes about a mile to get it up to the limiter. I have no power mods, just 26" vamps on stock rims and it has plenty of power for me plus the vamps like to wander on hard pack above 40mph.

I would have thought the 420s would run faster than that. My old 350 Rancher would run 56 on gps with 27in vamps.

Same 55-60 on a gps, and it takes a while from 50mph up.

I don't see how a stock 350 could run that fast with vamps, though its possible given a LONG straight stretch. My 420 blows away my buddies 350 by about the same amount he blows away my ol' 300. He runs 26" mudlites and he hits about 50mph gps in the same stretch I hit 58mph gps on my 420 and my poor 300 hits about 40mph gps on the same stretch with 25" tsl's.
