400ho radiator hose size?

I want to put a temp gauge in my wifes 400ho(hawkeye body) and am wondering what size the top radiator hose is. I don't want to pull it off or cut it until I am ready to install it. I looked online and ly local dealer didn't want to take the time to find out so I figured I would ask you all. I think by the looks of the O.D. the hose looks 3/4 I.D. Thanks in advance.
