I will try to remember to take some tonight. It was easier to snorkle then my King Quad. Jetting was the hardest thing, I still dont have it perfect.

That's the thing I'm worried about is being able to get the jetting right after I put on the snorkels...it runs perfect right now with the jet I have in it.

I have been told by a couple of people that know alot about these bikes that in order to get the most out of it you should run a 2" snorkle to the airbox and then play with the jets. I have 1 1/2" and I have it running good. 2" will give it the most performance.

You can run a it with a reducer. You will have to just try different sizes to what works best. I think a 3/4" will work ok.

I have a 1.5 inch spa hose running from my air box with a reducer.  Eventually you will have to jet for max performance.

A DynoJet kit seems to be the best from the reading I've done. That's the kit I have installed now. It comes with a variety of jet sizes to you can adjust to what you need.

I just want to see how you ran it. I've read about people doing it different ways and want to see how you did it. Did you use pvc the whole way or did you use spa hose?

I used the white flexible stuff. It bends, but not like the blue spa hose. You can buy it at Lowes for about $4 a foot.  The first thing I did was take my stock cvt intake and exhaust off and went to Lowes to find the best thing to connect to them. I used 2" to 1 1/2" rubber reducer with the hose clamps. They seem to work really good with a little silicone for insurance.

I will post pics soon to give a better visual. I ran 1.5 shopvac tubing the adapter at the end fit perfect onto the stock snorkle rubber tube. then dremeled (cut) a hole in the plastic right in front of the stock airbox to allow the snorkle hose to run along the left side of the bike. (right under the fuel shutoff) then up under the front fender (remove front fender and rack to assemble) drilled a hole  in the bottom of the tranny vent box and used a 1.5 PCV plumbing fitting to connect the hose to the box. Then ran two 1.5 PVC tubes (snorkles) from the top of the box out  throught the front plastic, between the rack and the handlebars.
Ensure to seal the tranny vent box with  silicone (trust me it will leak!) and use grease on the stock airbox lid. I found using the tranny vent box works amazing, if water does get in it goes to the belt which will slip acting as a warning.  Then its a simple tranny drain and your on your way. Additionaly using 1.5 tubing will not require a jet kit (wifes isnt jetted and runs stronger on the bottom end then mine does), as it seems to flow about the same as stock, but a 2 inch hose more than likely would.
Hope this helps, i will try and get those pics asap.

Mine is a manual but this is how i ran my snorkel out of the airbox if it helps.... I ran mine with all PVC and put a ruber coupler in the middle to take it apart if needed. I also replaced th stock needle and jetted up to a 135 Keihin. But i have a HMF pipe and Uni filter.

Thats how I connected to my airbox as well. I used an 1 1/2" pvc and a 45 to slide into the stock airbox opening(the little rubber coupling) and used two hose clamps and a little silicone to seal it up. I had to trim some of the plastic right behind the gas by where the front of the seat locks into place.
Be patient and take your time with the entire thing. You will probably see ways you like better along the way.

Now that's what I want to do. Full PVC. None of that spa hose stuff.

I've got a 122 DynoJet (which is equal to 130 Keihin) now and all I have is a Uni Filter.

I am a big fan of a full PVC snorkel, i have a pool and use the spa hose for my cleaner vac and it leaks all the time so i wasnt real big on the idea of using it for my AIR intake, but some folks love it, its up to the personal preference. I can take some better pics if you want, i actually changed the way it is run in the picture above last ride in order to less the restricion on the airflow, the less bends the better.

As for the jetting, i could probably go down to a 130 but its running good on the 135, just a lil rich but feels like it has more power.

and just to emphasize...... DONT FROGET TO GREASE AROUND THE LID OF THE AIRBOX, IT WILL LEAK AND YOU WILL FLOOD THE INTAKE WHNEYOU GO UNDER!!!!  I found out the hard way and have heard i am not the only on that had that issue.

Yeah, if you could take some more pictures that'd be great! I'd appreciate that.

I'd like to get started on my snorkel but I'm not sure what supplies exactly to buy. My closest Lowes/Home Depot is about 15 minutes away. With the price of gas I'd like to make as few of trips as possible.

Any idea what I should pick up as far as 90*s ect.? I can always buy more and bring it back afterwards.
