I've looked EVERYWHERE and cant find any information about it. All I could find was a couple videos. I was just wondering what all is done to it. A guy we ride with is trying to turn a banshee into a skimmer. He's gonna keep the motor relatively stock and maybe extend it a little. I already know what all to do to make it a skimmer I was just curious about the 400 since there's only a couple vids.

Big engine, big paddles, light bike, lots of speed. Thats probably what you need to go skimming.

Yeah I pretty much know everything he will need, and know how to get it. I just wanted to see some up close pictures of it since we're on the subject.

Hum would it be aginst the rules to run a big snowmobile in the skimmer class? Ive seen people take um across lakes so I know they will cross a mud hole.

They ran a snowmobile in the mud pit one year.  Crossed it and turned around and hit the wall and sunk it.

eh, nevermind, he decided not to do it. He got the bike for a few hundred dollars, with a blown motor and severely bent subframe. I guess he thought it would have been too much work.
