Jack it up, put a mark on your driveshaft and front nose of your rear diff, and a mark on one axle and the side of the diff. Turn the tire one full revolution, and count your drive shaft revolutions. One axle rotation should be 3.6 driveshaft rotation. I know, it's hard to measure 3.6. But if it has the 3.1's, it will be right at 3 turns. 4.0's would be 4 turns. So 3.6's are about midway between them. Are your eally confused now?
