my brother bought an 09 du edition 700 rhino!! the first day he took it out he got about 3 miles on it and the rearend or the rear cv was poping!! every time you give it gas it would pop and clank!! he took it back  to the dealer to get it looked at and almost 2 weeks later still no answer!! it also had a problem (or it seemed to have) about geting so hot you can not touch the console or the bar behind it! its strange cause my son rides on mine!! i was wondering if there is a lemon-law with utv, lol!! he is so pissed cause he rode it one day!! any suggestions!!

mine pops when you get on it in reverse and then if you get on it going forward. the rear diff mount bolts are not tight enough and it is moving up and down. check to see if that is what is wrong with his. not sure about getting hot though, my consol stay cool.

Sounds like a poor job of assembly.

its easy to check this your self. if you get behind the rhino, jack the rear end completely off the ground and use some what of a pry bar, slightly put some presure on the bottom of the diff. and see if it moves up and down. there are 2 bolts on the top left and right side of the diff. that are easy to tighten. if that isn't the problem you might want to check and see if a loose spindal could be putting the axle in a bind. The loose spindal was my problem when i got mine
