How do both size up, do they measure true, and which one rides better on hard packed ground.

yea i have to agree with you the 31"s ride very smooth for such a aggressive mud tire i wouldnt buy another mud tire than outlaws.. but if rode on roads the mudzilla will last longer but dont ride on roads and you will be fine

if you want i will sell you my 31" outlaws  9.5 and 11

I think the 31" Outlaw's are actually smoother than the 30" Mudzilla's at low speeds on hard pack. In the mud, there is no comparison. The 31" Outlaws will make the Mudzilla's look silly. In fact, the 29.5" Outlaws will out ride and out pull the Mudzilla's.

yep, but i think the mud zillas clean out better, at least easier anyway.  but they slice threw the mud more than cup and pull like the laws.  but also, less likly to break stuff.  but like said, laws will pull faster, dont know if they will go any farther, but they will get there faster.  i hadnt had a chance to ride them both together.

Wear is one of the only areas where the Mudzilla's will outperform the Outlaws

The 29.5s ride fine after 6mph LOL. Anything slower and you will look like your galloping LOL. The 31s are very smooth. The first time I rode someones quad with them I was truly amazed at how smooth they rode. Trying to compare the ride of the 29.5s and 31s is like apples and oranges IMO.

*sarcasm on*
My 30" mudzillas on my ozark will follow my friends can am on 31" laws anywhere.
*sarcasm off*

I will say that my Mud B's would clean out easier than the Outlaws.

But with the Outlaws the extra side lugs and a more horizontal lug pattern they do seem to "stay on top" of the mud better. And pull in reverse much better.

I haven't been able to ride much since I changed over so I really want and need to because there are a few holes where I had some problems with the Mud B's at Spring Creek and would like to try the Outlaws in them to compare.

bearcat60, the 31 wears pretty decent because of it's very flat profile. The wear is considerable better than the standard Outlaws. Unless you stay on pavement a bunch, wear is not much of a factor. Even then, it's not to bad. The ride is better than the Mudzilla on hard pack and they also kill them in the mud. The 31 is true to height and rides fairly smooth for such an aggressive tire. The better hard pack ride quality over standard Outlaws is also because of the much flatter profile.
