I remember back in April I contacted Maxxis and they said they would make a 30" tire before they ever made a 28x12. Well what happened to that theory? Does anyone have any news?

all the local dealer told me was that the 28's for a 12" rim are begining to be ordered. the dealer can put in an order for them for their stock. but the 28's for 12's won't have the deep lug i read. i asked about the 30's, he said they had no info on any release dates.

might just be dealer hearsay, and might not.

maybe if they do make 30s they will have a little deeper tread than 28s on 14s.

no doubt. that is exactly what i am looking for. they would be perfect for the prowler. a little more agressive than a mudlite, but not as rough as mudzillas, and not a axle breaker like laws or backs. would be nice to see a deeper lug, and maybe enough side wall lugs to do some good. i would have bought the 28's but they came out about 2 months after buying the 30 in mudlites, which i traded for a set of 30" mudzillas.

a 2 inch lug(or bigger) on a 30 zilla would be sweet!!!!! hey maxxis you can put me on the waiting list!!

yea I would say just an 1 1/4 inch lug would be fine to make it an awesome tire 1.5 at the most that might be too much tho because they will start to become too heavy

I think they would be great. They would probably measure ~29" and it would be nice if they had 1.5" lugs, like wiseguy said.

Nope they cant make them in 30s now because i already bought 30" mudlights..

you know they will come out with 30s and i will end up with some then HL will make the MSTs in 30s and then i will have to sell the Zillas to buy the 30" MSTS
