What's the biggest tires that will fit under the new front-end of the 2009 Rangers?

With maybe spacers and lift.....

I'm not interested in the A-arm mod kit.

Thanks,

Jo

28x10's on the front... i found a guy online who makes forward a-arms for the 09 rangers and you can even get them with a lift built into them. his website is Ranger Pro Lift dot com

you can also look at PRC forum dot com to see some of his work because he's built many custom bumpers and other things for people on that site

The A-arm mod kit is something I'm not considering.  I really don't want to mess with the A-arms... don't want to put undue stress on the joints or axels.  Plus, the new Rangers have better handling and steering... don't want to lose that!

The 28" x 10" in the front... is that with or without mods?

Thanks,

Jo

What are the real measurements for the 28" EDL's?

Is it a true 28x10, or do they run a bit short and skinny?

Dan (from HL) told me 9.5" (true measurement) will clear with 27" tires, all stock, and a spacer would help.

He also said a 28" x 9.5" will clear, with lift and spacer. (true measures)

Thanks Dan

The a-arms move the ball joints foreward 2 inches. This is where you get more clearance. I have driven Rangers with and without tha a-arms and can`t tell the difference.

Good to know the handling isn't affected!  That was my biggest concern.
Might look into that forward A-arm mod then....

Thanks!
