im planning on getting a new exhaust for my F-150 by the end of this week. the local exhaust shop will install a flowmaster super 44 dual exhaust for $400

how loud is the exhaust? will other people be able to hear me when i accelerate? i want a loud exhaust but not too loud. just let me know if u know anything about this exhaust.

also should i go with an H-Pipe or true duals?

thanks.

The absolute best way to do a dual setup is to run true duals with an X-pipe, flows better then a H-pipe. The Super 44s are supposed to be the loudest street muffler Flowmaster has ever made. If you don't want to hear it that much but you would like other people to hear it then you might want to consider a different muffler. Maybe a 50 Series Flowmaster, Magnaflow, Borla, or Corsa. All those are a decent bit quieter then the Super 44 will be on the inside of the truck.

The 10 series Flow Master is the loudest flow master I thought...? I know its louder then the 40 series.  Buddy of mine got them, they are pretty loud.

they are louder but he said street legal.  the 10 series are a race muffler only and not street legal. Although i have a lot of friends that run them and never had a problem with the police.

Yea the 10 series is a race muffler, I just meant the street mufflers. I've got a single chamber Cherry Bomb Extreme on my truck and haven't had any problems either. The 44s should sound pretty sweet on that Ford, btw what year and motor is the truck?

The super 44s are stainless and duals sound better.

I've already said that was the way to go \/, those motors sound awesome like that. Its also cheaper!

Good looking truck the leveling kits help the stance on those F-150s big time, no prob fitting 33s either they will look good.
