I'm looking to trade my lifted golf cart for either a 2005 Blaster w/hmf pipe, bored one over, new top end, clean OR a 2001 Recon, snorkled, not much else done to it.  Which is a better deal?

IDK, the recons are awsome bikes, and they can keep up with a blaster with a few minimal mods: rancher with exhaust will keep with a blaster stock...

and they LOVE to drift
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w3U4Z1g-a64

its nice to have the racks, and the ability to pull a small load, and you can still use it to work or play. blaster just gets stuck and can only play.
just my 2cents.

It's really for my girls to ride when I'm riding my Brute (or won't let them ride my Brute lol).  I don't foresee any towing/hauling in the future for either the Recon or the Blaster.

No, they're not young; 15 and 22.  They can deal with the clutch thing okay as they both know how to drive manual transmission.  I'm just thinking that 1) the Blaster is newer and in better shape, and 2) the Blaster is lighter and can probably go through the mud just about as good as my Brute and is easy to lift up and out in the event they do get stuck.  Plus, I'm worried about inheriting someone else's engine problems with the older Recon.

Got the Blaster.  Once TS Fay gets the heck out of here, I can play w/her a bit.  Seems pretty fast though.  Ported 1 over, heads, pistons, rings, etc. all new.  It has a FMF header and Powercore 2 silencer though and it is LOUD.  Anyone know what silencer I can put on there that will be a lot quieter?
