Status: offline 		who's done one?? i got my bike apart to put a cam in and am redoin alot of stuff...wanting to make my snorkel 2" all the way up..any thoughts or ideas  or pics?

she might not run the same after words.


Someone on here had it on their rincon.
Bike was red, and i believe it was for sale awhile back.
had a 2" snorkel coming up from the plastics done up in black.

I did mine in 1.5" all the way from the air box to the other end of the snorkel.
but i didnt have any engine mods or anything.

Status: offline 		Bob, with your mods, a 2" will work fine.  I have a 1.5 now, but am going to a 2" before long because I can't get enough air.  Look up Littlegrasshopper, he can hook you up with the pics or head over to www.rinconriders.com and there is tons of pics over there.

I'm on base setting 2, low is about 3/4 up, mid and high are almost all the way up.  With the 2", I should be able to go to base 3.  I run too lean on 3 right now, but It has alot more power.

As far as waterproofing, I siliconed the edges, and wrap it in a plastic bag taped up real good when getting it wet.  No problems yet.

Status: offline 		I re-did my snorkel from 1-1/2 to 2" and it still ran to the same place and it fit. I am gonna buy new plastic for the gas tank and go stealth into the instrument panel though.

Status: offline 		Bob, this is what I was talking about how I waterproof mine with the bag.  Just be sure around the wires are sealed good with electric tape.

Status: offline 		Yeah i cut the plastic that is on the right side of the tank. I will put a few pics up when i can, i am just bored with the way it looks so
i am doing a change up, black racks and a silver paint job is what i have in my head so we will see.
