I hear they are pretty good. No experience with them. I believe all shackle lifts are pretty much the same.. or same concept.

I think the B&J lift is more like 3 inches because I have 29.5's and almost 19" under the front end.

the front of the skid plates start higher and flatten out as you go to the back of the bike. I think there are a lot of measurements taken from the higher side of the front, here's why:  I have the CATVOS 4", HL coils with a 1" spacer in the coils (no sag) and 31s. I have 19" under the skid in the middle of the bike. Even though I'm sure some people's 2" lifts  might sit a little higher than others, I find it hard to believe that a 2" lift and 29.5s (which measure closer to 28") sit with the same ground clearance as a setup such similar to mine.

I run the 2" Extreme lift on mine and love it.  I have beat it up pretty good and it still holds up.  I sort of disagree with a previous post saying that most of these types of lifts are the same.  This Extreme lift is built with some strong material and has quite a bit of thought into the design.  I have the pleasure of working down the street from Xtreme and know those guys personally and they know their stuff .

Metal quality and thickness, durability, easy to install.  JMO  They all give you the desired extra height but to me the xpatv lift was just built to take some abuse.  He has his lift on the wall in the showroom along side some competitor lifts and it's like night and day in the design and quality.  JMO

as long as the lift is stronger than the mounting tabe it hooks too it is all set. also like GWC says, 19" of clearance? ground clearance should be measured to the bottom of the skid plate at the front of the motor and at the back of the skid plate. heck on a stock machine you can measure up to 14" of clearance under the skid plate in the front.

Well, I'm not really interested in arguing about it and I apologize if I've done something wrong.  I measureed mine at the access hole under the front diff.  Thanks for the education.

Take Note:
I have about 1/2" of GC under my big Toe when I lift it up. Yes, I know this pertains to the topic at hand and yall have been waiting for the info. I wanted everyone to know my WIFE measured for me so I could keep my foot flat floor as I stepped out of the shower. It was great becuase I was nude and she was on her knees and well....  enough about that. I have 1/2" GC under my big Toe.
