I've got a question. The carburetor went out on my dad's Big Bear. We have yet to find a used one for a 1999. I was wondering if there was any other years that would fit on his 1999?

I sure could use your guys's help!!

what's wrong with the old carb, can you just clean it ??

The mechanic said something about one of the jets was shot and it would be better to replace the carb if we could find a good used one!

I believe the 97-99 bb are pretty much the same bike but any of the bb 350 carbs may work and maybe the kodiak 400's. I have one off of a 94 Kodiak 400 for $110 shipped.

I double checked and 97-99 are exact same carb as long as it isn't Caliornia model. 93-96 have the same carb and then 89-92. It may still be possible to use one from 92-96 but you will want to double check

Replace the jet. There a few bucks MAX each. Sounds like you may need a new mechanic.
