I came across this 88 300 4x4 today. The guy wants $1300 canadian for it I cant get it for less, I tried. I think it is worth that, but I would like some other opinions. There are a few pics of it and it looks pretty clean. Thanks

Yea I think its worth is. isnt that about $1000 US dollars?

Heck yea its worth that!

just replace the plastics and paint the tank and it will be lookin good.

Yeah I planed on painting the tank. But I didnt think the plastics looked too bad, and yeah its about 1000 us.

the plastics are decent, but Im just not a red person. lol

Id get all green plastics and get the tank specially colormatched at a auto body shop.

yeah im pretty fond of tan plastics too. I think I am going to get this bike. Then after ill get some new tires and wheels I already got a pipe for it.

Did the Canadian 88 have the good front rack and bumper? I know the US had a weak add-on one.

It looks the same as my 1990 2x4 and its built good. Also I waiting impatiently for an address lol Its 2 hours away for my place but I really want it and dont want to mis out.

if i get it I want to get tires and rims eventually for it. But I dont reall know what to get I was thinkin 25x10 bugs for the front and 26x10 for the rear. I dont want outlaws because i do alot of trail riding and this bike is going to be a hunting bike when I get a new one anyways. What do you guys think for tires? I already have a pipe filter and jet kit for it, and a 300ex rear shock and a lift kit too.

That's why I asked the US 300FW didn't have the better front rack until 90

that is reasonable as I have seen those sell for a bit more than that in my area. Just make sure it is not one of those that has been driven to h#$% and back with minimal maintenance.

It doesnt look to be, but I have learned twice about 300's looks can be decieving. (bought 2 clean 300's, both had rear diff problems within a few months)

Check the diffs good!!
