1970 Chevrolet Chevelle

I have a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle in great condition up for sale. I bought this car a little over a year ago. It has been garage kept ever since. The car runs great, and starts right up. The car is white with ghost racing stripes on it (the stripes are hard to see in the pictures). Only the best Royal Purple fluids have ever been used in it. I've babied the car since I've had it, and the last guy took great care of it too.
  • 406 c.i. Small Block Chevy
  • 23 degree Brodix Track 1 heads with 64cc chambers.
  • The cam is a roller 630 lift comp cam
  • The pistons are 11:1 forged srp
  • Steel Stock Crank
  • Eagle Rods
  • MSD ignition
  • Automatic Transmission
  • Flowmaster Exhaust
  • Hooker Headers
  • Moroso Fuel Pump
  • K&N Air Filter
  • 4.88 rear end with spool
  • Cowl Induction Hood
  • Autometer Gauges
  • Weld Wheels
  • B&M Shifter
  • McCoy Roll Cage
  • Racing Harness Seat Belts
  • Rear Airbag Suspension, fully adjustable
  • Rear Mounted Battery w/ external shut off
  • BRAND NEW - Seat Covers and Seats
  • BRAND NEW - Powermaster Alternator
  • BRAND NEW - Mickey Thompson rear tires
  • BRAND NEW - High Flow Electric water pump
  • BRAND NEW - Aluminum radiator with dual Spal fans

I originally bought the car to take drag racing as that is what it's built for but, I've never even had it to the track. I've spent a lot of money in upgrading the engine cooling system and putting new tires on it. The guy I bought it from assured me it ran high 10's in the quarter mile but, I cannot guarantee that as I said before I've never raced it.

The only damage on the car is on the drivers side, rear fender near the rear tire and it is minor other than that the windshield has a small crack in the passenger side.

I just put the new alternator in it and don't have the new belt yet, so I'm starting the car with a jumper box for now but the new belt should be here this week.

This car is setup to be a race car, no AC, no heat, no stereo. It can be driven on the street and it gets a lot of attention when you are out cruising, I currently have it licensed in the state of Illinois.

I'm selling the car is with no warranty of any kind. This car is not for the faint of heart, it has power and TONS of it!
I currently have the car financed, I will simply give you a signed bill of sale when you pick up the car and overnight ship the signed over title to you when I receive it from the bank.

If you are looking to finance this vehicle, you can try J.J. Best Banc http://www.jjbest.com/ (they are who I originally financed the car through). I welcome any inspections, or appraisals that you wish to have done.

If you have ANY questions, call me ANYTIME at 618-219-8696, if no answer leave a message and I'll get back to you right away, or you can email me at Scott.Kaufmann@mac.com I am located about 15 minutes outside of St. Louis, Missouri

NOTE: Please contact me only if you are a serious buyer, I've had several people just interested in a "joy ride" with no intent to buy, so serious inquires only, please!
Sale Price!
$16,500.00
Or make a reasonable offer.

Thanks! Yeah I figured it might be hard to sell with the market the way it is right now. I decided I've got way to many hobbies, and I just don't know enough about cars to have this beast sittin in my garage. I want to see it get a good home, she runs strong and is MEANNNN!

Did you list on here, or sell it locally? I just now started advertising this car in some places.

I've had a few people interested in this car for their teenagers... this is NOT the kind of car a 16 year old should be driving. I can't stress that enough. I guess I shouldn't care as long as they have the money but I don't want to know some kid wrapped himself around a tree driving this mean machine!

Sweeeet! I had this car in high school (1980) but black with white racing stripes.

I'd love to take it off your hands but that would mean giving up my RZR and I just can't do it.

Good luck with the sale.
