The bike will start up and run fine for a min then it will slowly idle down and finally die. if you give it gas it sputters and pops. both plugs are good and both plug boots are getting spark. the gas is fine. it is an EFI and NO CODES ARE COMING UP! help would be apreciated.

Mine did the same thing. Its ended up being the MAF sensor. But mine DID shoot a code. Believe it or not, water was getting in there

A loose battery cable or a torn boot between the airbox and the motor will cause this with no codes

I think it the maf sensor as well its located on the air intake out of the airbox check the wiring going to it for bare spots from rubbing on the frame.

I agree with Texasmudder it's really common . What all did the dealer do? just the tank and pump? Have all your grounds been cleaned? poor wiring  seems to be the norm on the 2005 EFI's

it was the maf sensor, the dealor replaced the tps sensor, cleaned everything, and etc, fuel pump bla bla bla, he didnt think to check the maf sensor becuase it wasnt throwing a code. he replaced it and the problem is fixed.

Great to hear that it  is fixed. I think alot of dealers guess at what is wrong and start changing things untill they figure it out!

thats one thing i've learned in my line of work (electronic tech) is never trust the self test of electronics it won't always tell you whats wrong you have to do some troubleshooting.
