Status: offline 		hey a guy on here wants to trade me an 07 outtie with 28s (outlaws) snorkeled and 2in lift for the red bike in my sig is it worth it? and what are some common problems with the outties

Status: offline 		the outtie is an 800 isnt it. if so id say yes its worth it. id trade a popo for an outtie anyday. most problems are self inflicted on the can ams as with most other bikes not being taken care of and maintained properly. skid plates would be the first thing i would buy.

Status: offline 		it had a blown head gasket at one time but he said it was fixed. i havent heard of to many head gaskets blowing on the cans but it could have been a faulty gasket or something else. id check it out i dont think you will be disappointed with the outtie.

Status: offline 		remove the outer cvt cover and see if theres grooves in the sheaves of the clutches. this is an indication that there has been quite a bit of mud in the cvt cover. there are several ways to snorkel them its pretty easy to do the can ams. is it snorkeled already. let me know and then ill give you some  more info about the bike.

Status: offline 		but it has been before. id take a close look at the inside of the airbox and see if theres mud and water in it. when looking at a used bike its hard to tell what your getting. look inside the airbox and see if its dirty but thats not a real good indication either cause it can be cleaned out. i take extremely good care of my bike and it still gets mud and dirt in the box from washing it off the snorkels.
