welcome to he!! lol, u did everything right next i would grab a screw driver, flat head if available and start scraping the mud out from around it, about halfway down on each side there is like a 1"x1" piece of foam and that is just to kinda take some of the shock away from the battery while ur hitting bumps, and once the mud is out of the way id try to scrap one or two of those foam pieces off the plastic to give for more room to move it back and forth, i personally wouldnt use the screw driver and pry on the battery with it to hard but that is what i did, once i got it out the first thing i did was grab a drill bit and my drill and drill i think it was 9 holes in the bottom of the box to drain whatever out when the battery went back in
