Hey id like so thoughts...i want to do away with the enclosed fan shroud on the back of my rad on my 07 700 efi. I know alot of guys have modded them with putting the rad on the front rack...im not into that hardcore of mudding but id like more cooling and easyer cleaning. I looked at my buddys 08 t cat and his fans the same size and has brackets to hold the fan instead of enclosed...but the rads way bigger...should i buy the brackets and redrill the holes for my rad. Thanks guys.

Sounds like that could be an interesting project

.

The easiest ways to get increased cooling on the 700s are IMHO to install an oil cooler. They don't have one from the factory, and the oil runs about 3x as hot as on the other Cats. The other one is to do the fan switch mod, so that you have the option of turning the fan on and having it always running.

Thanks engie...how hard is it to install an oil cooler..any pics or topics on it. I think im gonna try the fan mount thing as well. Thanks for the help...you sell your 700...i remeber when i first bought mine you had huge plans for it. I cant wait to order the vdi.

look at his pix the MPs radiator does not have a fan shroud on it and should be the same size rad as yours.
