Okay guys my wifes popo has been sitting for awhile several months since it was ridden last.  I went out to crank it up today and let it run sme and all it does is turn the motor over.  It is not backfiring or anything sounding crazy.  I put fresh gas in the tank and still did not crank.  Turns over fine no sluggish battery charged so what could be the problem.  The bike ran fine the last time it was ridden around the house.  Any suggestions would be appreicated before I load it up and head to the dealer with it.

Dang all these people wanting parts off my wifes bike  Wnt to get her running first but I am going to take the lift off and drop it back down to trail ride.  Probably do a suspension swap and some cash.  But I can make a really good deal for someone to tell me what is wrong with the bike so I can get it running again.

Come on guys need some ideas I can try tomorrow before I just load it up and take it to the stealer Tuesday.  When I turn the key I can hear the fuel pump kicking on so I know it is working.

maybe the fuel pump is not making enough pressure to push any fuel through, could be the plugs, or could be a clogged injector. Is it her bike that has the wileyco duals on it, if so i would check the inside of the pipes to make sure they arent clogged with mud.

I would check the plugs, plug wires, and coil connections.

This bike is her 800 sportsman not the 700 sportsman that had the loud wileycos on them.  Man am I glad we dont have that bike anymore just purely because of the exhaust.  But anyways, I tried taking the airbox lid off checking the filter and it still would not crank.  I guess I will have to check the plugs today and the wiring.  I hate pulling plugs on a polaris it is a pain in the rear.

Check the easy side first, lol.  In all seriousness, I pull the plastics and tank to get to my plugs cause I hate trying to get to them with the snorkel hoses in the way.

First thing is check to see if you have enough fuel pressure, then spark! Also check your ETC and make sure its not out of adjustment.

Alrighty guys got her back running today.  Not real sure what the deal was really.  All I did was pull all the fuses out from in the front box to check them put them back in and she started up.  Had some mud caked around the fuses so maybe that was it.  By the way does anyone know what those 4 fuses are for?
