the engine on my 700 sounded like it was in a bind so i was thinking that it was probably a crank or counterbalance bearing going out so i just pulled the engine out and split the case and there was alot of metal shavings in the bottom case and around the counter balance bearings, they were copper colored like what the bearings used to look like. im going to change all the bearings in the lower end the top end is in excellent shape just wondering what could have caused these bearings to go out? any one had this problem?
