i bought the same thing in march..and it was awesome..had plenty of power for offroading...not as fast as the 660 but i live in the rockies and it went EVERYWHERE!! i have 27" itp mudlite xtrs on it and it is stock..it doesnt really rob any power and they are great..but im pretty sure you could add some kind of CDI to make better performance but from my own experience u wont be dissapointed

27s take 20% of the power away from a 660. I am sure they hurt the 450 also, just not enough power to begin with so you don't feel the loss as much.

i love my 450 it has gone everywhere and done everything i have tried, it has great low end torque, last weekend went up some hill climbs and cruised around in 3 foot + deep water and never had power issues, the 450 in by no means a race ready machine but for trails/mud/hill climbs it is great, unless you have a reason for getting bigger tires i would just get an agressive 25" tire to keep power loss down

the 450 is 10x better for technical offroading and mudding.  its geared much lower than the 660.  in fact I have seen a stock 450 spin 30" mudlites better than a modded(pipe) 660 spin 27 xtrs.

I loved my 450. So much so i wish I had it back. It went everywhere I wanted and stopped spinning before it broke. lol I ran 27" Holeshots, 26"Laws, 29.5 Swamplites and 28" Mud Hogs on it. I turned all of all of them fine except in the really thick stuff. I di have a pipe, clutch, exhaust, snorkle etc.... Did I already say how much I miss that machine?????
Anybody need a RZR?
I would seriouls consider another 450 plus cash for my RZR.
