05 sportsman 700 efi wont start.

I started it up pulled it out of the garage shut it off and went in the house for a min. Came out and turned the key and nothing. No lights, no fuel pump prime not crank. I cant get any electrical circuit to work. First thought battery. Nope perfectly fine. So i tested the ignition switch and its getting 12v. So i thought ignition switch. Bought a new one and no change. Checked the fuses and relays all good.

I would appreciate any help or suggestions

Not trying to be funny but have you checked the kill switch?

i would say definitely kill switch.. since its showing NO power

The same thing happend to me when I first bought my PoPo, and yep it was the kill switch

Yes. double checked the kill switch. It has me stumped. I double checked the wiring and nothing looks to have shorted out any where or broken.

I would double check the battery cables to make certain that you have good clean and tight connections. If that doesn't work I'm stumped too. Electricity is not my forte.

The battery connections are good. I can take a paper clip and jump the yellow (12v) wire at the ignition switch to the red w/ white stripe and white w/ red stripe wires and i can get it to crank and run but the min i touch the gas it kills. I turn the key and Nothing. No headlights, no winch control, no info display nothing. Im at a loss too. I think i may pull the kill switch and test that.

check your fuse block, sometimes the wires going into it become somewhat loose overtime...................

Wires checked. Looks like from testing its the kill switch that went bad or something. Ill know more tonight when i get to tear into it more.
