will the 700 efi motor out of an 05 kingquad work in my 07 700 efi?  if not what needs to be changed to make em work??????

i would think it would drop right in, i dont remeber seeing anywhere about them changing the motor any. only thing you will have to change out i bet is the rear drive shaft and your throttle body boot and use your air box.
i have a motor out of a Vinson in my AC500 and the only difference was the rear drive shaft. and carb boot.

i think the wiring harness is different on the ecu's my cousing vdi for his ac 700 didn't fit on my king!

i wonder if it's different on the motor side or the ecu side though?  if it is diff, i've still got my motor and plugs, ain't nothing a little wire solder can't fix i guess.  i just worried about the motor mounts and drive shafts

well i guess that really wouldn't matter beings the motors are the same that you wouldn't have to change harnesses.

Yes, it will fit.  Before you buy an 05 motor, you need to be sure it has the updated reverse bearing.  Those motors were notorious for losing the reverse gear and breaking the cases....
