Are you 100% sure that it is the CDI box? I ask this question because these units are usually very reliable, and don't fail to often. Also, a commen component in Yamaha atv's to go (which causes no spark) is the Pick-Up coil (or Pulse Coil to some people). When this component fails, no spark is created because no voltage is induced to charge (pulse) the ignition coil. The Ignition coil is also a part that fails more often than a CDI unit. Both can be checked using a Multi-meter and measuring the resistance within each unit. I do not know the numbers that you should look for, but any good Yamaha ATV repair manual for your specific model should have them. I would check these components first before buying a CDI box without actually testing it ,as cdi units are not cheap (no matter where you buy them from), and there are other components that fail more commenly. Good luck with it. Dezz
