02 Grizzly fan not coming on automatically

My `02 Grizzly fan will not come on when it gets up to temperature. I put it in the shop and the guy couldnt find out whats wrong with it so he just ran an hotwire to the fan so now it comes on only when you flip a switch on. Does anyone have an idea why it wont come on automatically? Also the fuse under the seat labeled TERMINAL keeps blowing (as soon as you put one in), is that related?

you probably got a bad relay. either way the manual fan switch works fine too

I agree with bnyce either a relay or bad connition and rubbed throw wire that is going to ground
