Can anyone give me the stock carburetor settings for a '96 Scrambler 400? I mainly need the slide height (if available), air screw settings and needle number and clip position.

I've got one I'm working on that won't idle at all, and won't run really well until it's choked. I need to get it above idle throttle position to get it to start up. I've soaked and rebuilt the carb, and have messed around with the settings but can't seem to find the sweet spot.

It seems to be loading up in the mid-range and when it comes on the pipe and cleans itself out it runs ok until I drop it to about 1/2 throttle or lower then it loads up again and takes forever to clean out and get back on the pipe.

I'm a certified motorcycle mechanic, but 2-strokes really aren't my thing.

I'm picking up a new plug for it tonight and will be checking the reeds and cage for damage tomorrow when I install the new plug.

Any ideas?
