I have a Viper Max 3500 winch on the way for my '08 Brute 750. Can anyone tell me a good place to connect the switched 12v source from? i havn't dug into it yet but i fugure one of you guys who have already installed one can tell me quicker. Anything else i should keep in mind during the install?

on mine i did it into the 12volt cig plug works great.....

I put mine on a switch that I mounted into the instrument trim.

and dont mount the contactor where viper tells you to. Put it under the seat where that BIG OLE tool kit is.

Yep..the cig plug wiring would be an easy place to pick off 12volts thats also switched by the ignition. I was planning under the seat for the contactor also....Thanks Guys.

I got my Viper max 3500 last night an just finished the install, it was a piece of cake. I was worried that the 3500 might be a little big but it fits like a glove. I tapped the switched 12v off the aux cig plug and that worked great. Also put the contactor where the tool pouch was and its a real clean install. So far i'm real pleased..
