For my part of the world you are pretty much correct on both accounts. When I bought mine in June of 07 they were just giving dealers the prices of the 08's and the web page changed not too long after that. He was getting his first 08 right around when my kids went back to school in early Sept.

If brute came out with a 950, we wouldn't be like the kitty cats boys and claim to have a "1400" then have excuses cuz flynt would make it possible!

If they do up the cc's I hope they totally redesign the motor and not just up compression, make it a 840,ect..We can already do that.I'd like to see a OEM 900 with as much room to work with as the 750 has.Only thing then would be waiting on mods to become available or design them.Had my brute 4.5 years now pretty much done all I know to do to it (still some things I could do) lol.Gonna give em another year before I join the yuppies and jump on the can-am wagon

Ummmm... Make this statement make sense for me?!?

The "kitty cat guys" are getting 100hp from the stock bore and the cylinders/jackets are good to 1080cc on the thundercat! I'd love to see something new from the kawi boys, but if you think they are going to build a machine that'll beat a tcat mod for mod, I say you are sadly mistaken...

My dream factory Brute would be 900ish (I wouldn't really need more than that) EFI Mud Pro style version with 29.5 Outlaws, beefed up shafts/suspension/undercarriage/skidplates, clutched, HID lights, fully snorkeled of course, a rear bumper, front and rear 3000 pound winches, and about 15" of clearance in your choice of 3 colors- team green, orange, and that ultra cool blue they had recently.

no way, i wouldnt even want an 850...they still sound like a polaris, just more powerfull IMO, and 14 inch rims etc....i wouldnt trade my brute force anything, does exactly what i need it to do. the only way im getting something else, is WHEN they come out with a 950

thats what i mean, it has more power then a brute. thats why kawie need something like a 950 or a sport utility or something like that to get ahead of the pack again.

Simple enough terms for me?!? LOL either stick around awhile or do a search of my name before you pretend to know the foundation of my knowledge!

Who exactly made that claim?!? Can you give me names? See, that is the problem with building a stereotype to satisfy your own vendetta. NO ONE with a BIT of engenuity that actually knows a thing about building motors said they'd bolt on 1300cc(1400 if you consider the 700h1). It takes all of 5 seconds to see the stroke difference between the two motors, thus even if the cylinders had bolted up, it would have been around 1100cc without a stroker. So, consider that as you will.

I like kawasakis. I'm building 2 exotic motors right now to mudrace with that should be over 100 crank horsepower on each. The fact remains that at the end of the day, the biggest cc kawis have less than a stock thundercat! Take into account the similar head designs, etc and the thundercat will alwaysss be the more powerful bike mod for mod....

Engie there is atleast one thread in the ac section discussing the 1400 tcat and whether its possible or not I didn't think it was but you just clarified that it isn't possible. Kawi is behind and everyone knows it. Yes the kitty cat, canned ham, and poo poo are all bigger, faster, more powerful bikes.. Kawi outdid the competition when it introduced the brute force.. I have a feeling history will repeat itself and kawi will be back on top.. Either way, I wasn't bein a smart@$$ and there was no reason for you to be a tool in your reply.. Congrats on being able to tune and build these things competitively in this growing sport.. btw if u do some footwork in the kitty cat section, you'll find the thread i was referring to

No, your first reply didn't make sense without a background knowledge of the exact situation that you were discussing and came off as a bash in the form of a run on sentence. I asked for clarification, which you gave me only to end the paragraph with a bash of my personal knowledge. Yes, it made me angry, since ive spent countless hours helping people solve problems, keeping the peace on here, thinking outside the box, and designing/building things that are one of a kind, all the while sharing nearly everything I learn with the general public. So, yes, when the new guy gets on here and starts with a brand bash only to follow it up with your previous two comments bashing me personally, it gets a well-deserved sarcastic response. Perhaps I was wrong in my wording of the original post and if so, I apologize..However, bashing and namecalling will not be tolerated here, nor will I stoop to the same level in a response. If your determined as you seem to take it to the court of public opinion on here, I wish you the best of luck with that!

hey bro it wasn't a bash of your personal knowledge.. it was an inquisitive statement reassuring myself that i clarified it for ya.. as for the remark about calling you a tool, i call em as i see em.. just as u w/ me being a newby, you painted me w/ a broad brush assuming that i was product bashing.. and id like to thank you for the advice and all you do on the forums.. w/o people like you on forums, they'd look lik a gearhead jerry springer episode.. again, good luck on your race motors and also on the idea you have for that fi brute your tunin..

LOL, I don't push the button for disagreeing with me! Honest and mature disagreements help us be better at our jobs and better people overall. We are still just normal guys doing a most difficult "job"(since emotion is difficult to convey thru a keyboard)... Have made a ton of friends on here and for that I'm happy!
